Unlike traditional Solenoid Valves that use magnetic force, the Motor Valve sends a timed signal to turn on or off the valve. This design greatly reduces the chance of overheating, as this function only takes a few seconds to preform. A Solenoid Valve uses magnetic force generated through the power supply. This force is constantkeeping the valve in the open position, this design causes an unwanted heat. This heat over time greatly reduces the internal spring’s service life. With the Motor Valve design this is greatly reduced to just a few seconds, this reduces the heat and extends the life of the Valve.
